Improving Your School One Week at a Time – Jeffrey Zoul

Bully For Jeff

  • The topic of bullying is important in any school. Jeff suggests these ideas to the staff. Provide supervision especially during unstructured time where much of the bullying occurs. Don’t hesitate to intervene if you suspect bullying is taking place. Make sure all students know how you feel about bullying. Share what you know about the bullying you observe with other staff. Discuss the topic in class from time to time and encourage the students to be involved in prevention. Bullying consequences should be based on the act, not on the person. Also be sure to recognize students who do positive acts involving others.
