  • There is an excellent explanation of Twitter, which due to its message limit of 140 characters is considered a microblog. They suggestTweetdeck and Hootsuite as applications that can make Twitter more useful. (Doug: I’m a big fan of Tweetdeck.) Wikis are up next with Wikipedia being the most famous. You can create your own wikis for collaborating using Wikispaces.You can consider using Ning or Classroom20 to set up your own social network. The chapter ends with reminders about managing your online reputation.
