  • Some companies are doing make overs to open spaces so that workers have places to go to get away from everybody. It seems that programmers in top-performing companies have more privacy, personal workspace, and freedom from interruptions. Learning can also be more effective if you work on the most challenging tasks alone. In group classes there is no guarantee that the class will focus on what you don’t understand.
