Social Media: It’s More than Just a Hang-Out by Ken Myers

YouTube

  • More than just a place to watch copyrighted content before it’s pulled down; YouTube has helped many become great successes. It has helped artists of all venues develop themselves as well as their talents in order to entertain the viewers. People such as Philip DeFranco who was poised to go to medical school, have developed a great deal of success from nothing more than sharing points of view of the news. Painters, singers, rappers, actors and more have placed themselves on YouTube to “test the waters” so-to-speak and have become popular to the point of celebrity status with hundreds of thousands of viewers. As long as you are willing to take the bad comments as constructive criticism in order to perfect your skill, YouTube could take you far into developing your passion. Coincidentally, as YouTube videos can be posted on your Facebook timeline, you can gain additional exposure to friends and family.
