9/23 Update

  • The debris pile in front of my place was picked up yesterday. It’s nice that I no longer have to look at my destroyed furniture every day. This was the 2nd debris pile picked up so it would seem my place is near the top of the list. The guys picking up this stuff have a long way to go. This morning the guy who’s stuff was in my apartment came and moved it out. I now have an empty bedroom. I should get a donated bed this weekend. I am still volunteering at what is called MacArthur Elementary at St. Francis. We have 11 classes in grades 3-5. Most of what I do now is traffic control as the district still doesn’t have a crossing guard in front of the school. I also did some consulting on the technology plan for a building that never had any. They can skip wiring the place and go wireless, but they now only have one laptop per classroom. I posted a new book summary yesterday which is very cool. It’s called “Inevitable.” Check it out.
